Room in a shared flat

The apartment
Our four-person shared flat is located in Witikon (Kreis 7) in a quiet and at the same time central location. The 140 m² raised ground floor apartment offers four bedrooms, a large kitchen, two bathrooms, a cozy living and dining area, and a spacious balcony with views of greenery. The kitchen and bathrooms were renovated in 2020.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, Sodastream, food processor, and everything else one needs for cooking and baking. In the living room, there is a large sofa, a TV, and a record player. Additionally, a cellar compartment, bike cellar, a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a separate room for drying laundry are available. We share the laundry room with another apartment; the laundry schedule is flexible.

Your room
The room is 13.5 m² in size, bright, and has a large window facing west. It is unfurnished and is offered as a sublet. You will share the bathroom with Yasmin. The room will become vacant at the end of September, exact date still unclear. Move-in is therefore by arrangement, possible from the beginning of October.

Our two cats
Two friendly male cats also live with us. They enjoy being petted and like to come to the bed or the sofa for cuddles. Otherwise, both are very autonomous, have a cat flap, and spend a lot of time outside. They belong to Yasmin and are mainly cared for by her. However, if she is away or working long hours, the whole WG helps with feeding and, of course, with affection.

The surroundings
The Loorenstrasse bus stop, Coop, bakery, and other shops are only a few steps away. With the bus, you are at Klusplatz in approx. 10 minutes, at Stadelhofen in 20 minutes, and at UZH/ETH Zentrum in approx. 25 minutes. Blue zone and rentable parking spaces in the underground garage are also available nearby.

Our WG
We are Dave (25, Master's student in Geography and museum guide), Yasmin (28, primary school teacher in Master's studies), and Jonas (27, PhD in Automatic Control Systems). While Jonas is well occupied with his PhD and often works, Yasmin and Dave are at home in the evenings and sometimes during the day, and enjoy watching motorsport or listening to Dave's records. We like to spend time in the living area and do not go to sleep too early. Accordingly, our living room is lively in the evenings, but not loud.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a male or female flatmate who enjoys WG life. We are not a Zweck-WG (shared flat for convenience), while at the same time we all pursue our own interests. Since we work and live differently, there is actually always someone there, yet one can find peace at any time. We occasionally do things together, such as sledding, but we see each other more as it happens. Ideally, you are in a similar stage of life as us and already have WG experience.

Costs
Included in the rent are the apartment's utility costs (heating, electricity, water, etc.), Internet/TV, as well as a weekly cleaning by a cleaning service (bathrooms, kitchen, and living area).
Additionally, there is a WG fund for shared expenses such as Zürisäcke and cleaning supplies.
