Room in a shared flat

Hey you! Since I am moving out, I am looking for a new roommate for our spacious shared apartment (WG). The room is **unfurnished** – so you can decorate it entirely according to your own taste. It is compact (=small, you cannot put a desk in it (!!), but we have an office.. ;)), and super cozy! **Availability & Limitation:** * **Move-in:** From **1. November** (possibly slightly earlier by arrangement). * **Duration:** Initially **limited until the end of March 2027** (due to a planned demolition of the property). However, there is a **high probability that the period will be extended**. * **Deposit:** approx. CHF 1' 400 **The apartment (8.5 rooms on 2 floors):** The apartment in a two-family house offers enormous amounts of space and room to feel good: * **Lower floor:** Large, cozy living room with a real fireplace, separate dining room, kitchen with dishwasher, pantry, guest WC, office/creative room, and a small balcony. * **Upper floor:** The bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, as well as an additional room that has been used as a yoga/meditation room so far and can be flexibly redesigned. * **Extras:** Attic, private cellar compartment, as well as private washing machine and tumble dryer for free use (no annoying laundry schedule!) **Location:** Top location in popular Zürich-Höngg! * Only 2 minutes walking distance to the _Schwert_ and _Meierhofplatz_ stops (Tram 13, Bus 46 and 80 – direct and fast connections throughout the city). * Shopping facilities (Migros, Coop, Denner) are practically at your doorstep. * You can reach the Limmat and the Werdinsel in approx. 5 minutes on foot, the forest is reachable in 10 minutes. **WG Life & Costs:** You share this oasis of well-being with three open, uncomplicated roommates (two men, one woman between 25 and 28 years old, all employed or in studies). The rule is: anything is possible, nothing is mandatory! We are definitely not a Zweck-WG (a shared flat for purely functional purposes) – we appreciate uncomplicated togetherness, enjoy chatting in the kitchen, cook together spontaneously, or let the evening end with a cozy glass of wine in front of the fireplace. At the same time, each of us has a busy daily routine, and thanks to the two floors and many common rooms, you can find plenty of peace and a place to retreat by yourself at any time. The perfect balance of sociability and privacy! _Note on utility costs:_ So far, TV/Internet, electricity, water, furniture surcharge for the whole apartment, a recycling collection service, and a regular cleaner were included in the total costs. Since my move-out involves a change of main tenant, the future distribution of utility costs (such as internet, electricity, furniture surcharge, or optional services like a cleaner) will be finally calculated by the remaining roommates. The exact monthly rent will be determined transparently and fairly before the contract is concluded. Possibly, the new tenant might also have to become a main tenant with one of the roommates.
