Room in a shared flat

Hi there,

I'm Mathias and I'm off travelling for a few months, so my room in our flat at Turbinenstrasse 31 is available as a sublet from 15 November 2026 (flexible until 1 December) until 31 March 2027, with potential for extension tbd. You'd be living with my two flatmates, Fabian and Thomas, in our lovely place!

About your room: Your room is 13 m², fully furnished and right next to the living room, with direct access to the balcony. It faces the afternoon and evening sun and comes with a double bed, a large wardrobe, a desk with a monitor (and even a digital piano). Just bring your suitcase and move in.

About your location: We are at Turbinenstrasse 31, right in the heart of Zurich West. The area combines the best of two worlds: close to hip restaurants, bars, parks and Viadukt shopping, yet in a quiet side street. The flat is on the 7th floor, high enough to watch the sunset from the balcony without buildings blocking the view. Public transport is excellent: Hardbrücke station, the heart of Zurich's transport network, is a 4-minute walk away. Supermarkets, pharmacies and a gym are right next door, and you reach the Limmat in just over 5 minutes.

About your flat: There's space to go around: 2.0 m² in total, with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room, a large modern kitchen with a dining table, a 20 m² balcony with a lounge corner, two bathrooms (one with a walk-in shower, one with a bathtub), and a storage room inside the flat. The flat is well equipped: a private washing machine and tumble dryer, oven, steamer, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and more. Parking in the building's garage can be rented, and visitor parking is free.

About your flatmates:

• Fabian (25, Italian) works as a software developer and speaks German, English and Italian. He's passionate about nature and sports: climbing, bouldering, running and skiing. He enjoys a casual, easy-going yet personal atmosphere in the flat.
• Thomas (28, Swiss) works in fintech and is easy-going. He plays volleyball and chess and goes bouldering.

Your flat environment: During the week the flat is calm. Fabian and Thomas split their time between the office and home office, and the flat allows focus time during working hours and quiet evenings. On weekends or Friday evenings it can get a bit livelier when friends or family come over for dinner. The atmosphere is easy-going and respectful: sometimes there's dinner together or a drink out, and everyone values each other's time. Common areas are kept clean and tidy.

Costs: CHF 1,810 per month, plus your share of electricity and internet/TV, and a CHF 2.000 furniture deposit paid on move-in.

About you: You're ideally a working professional (no students), between 25 and 35, without pets.
