Room in a shared flat

A room is opening up in our six-person shared house in Höngg, a four-minute walk from Werdinsel and the Limmat. We're looking for someone to move in between mid and end of September. This is a permanent lease takeover. Each housemate holds their own individual contract, so you're a secure tenant in your own right. The room is 18 m², bright, on the first floor with a view over the garden, and it comes unfurnished. Rent is **CHF 1,070 per month including utilities and WiFi**. A weekly cleaner for the shared areas costs about **CHF 77 per month per person** (NOT included in the monthly rent) We're a diverse, international household of six who enjoy sharing meals and time together while also valuing our own space and quiet. The house has a large garden with plenty of room to relax outside in summer, plus fruit trees that give a good harvest of apples, pears, and plums. Other perks include three bathrooms (one with a shower and toilet, one shower room with a double sink, and a separate WC), two fridges, a washing machine and dryer, a large shared balcony, bicycle storage, and a guest space in the attic for visitors. The nearest stop is Wartau, four minutes on foot, and from there the bus reaches ETH Hönggerberg in about ten minutes. We're looking for a male PhD student (preferably international) to keep the household gender-balanced. Ideally someone who's happy to help out in the garden now and then, enjoys community living alongside their own private time, and is clean, tidy, and a good communicator.
