Room in a shared flat

From 1 January 2027, I am looking for a new flatmate for our beautiful 2-person shared apartment at Schaffhauserplatz (resident there since 2022).

The entire house was completely renovated in 2021. Various tram lines (HB: 5 min, Central: 5 min, Hardbrücke: 10 min) as well as shopping facilities (Migros, Coop, bakery) are right in front of the door. The Limmat is 7 minutes walking distance away. Thanks to state-of-the-art windows, the apartment is extremely quiet despite its very central location and has sun all day (including sunset on your room balcony).

The apartment offers the following amenities (see also floor plan):

• 2 bedrooms (your room is 20 m2 with two accesses to the balcony - bed)
• 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub/shower and laundry tower, the smaller one only with WC)
• Modern kitchen with induction hob
• Balcony access in all rooms (walkway around the apartment)
• Underground garage in the building (availability would have to be requested from the administration, we currently do not use one).

If interested, the main lease can potentially be taken over by me at a later date.

A few infos about me:

I am Fabian, 34, originally from St. Gallen, have lived in Zürich for 8 years and work in HR as a personnel developer and would like to become (partly) self-employed as a coach from 2027.

I am an open, warm, active, uncomplicated and rather profound person, I very much enjoy cooking for myself and others (from which you can also benefit :D). On the weekend I am in nature or also like to go to a rave or a music festival.

In a shared apartment, it is important to me that one feels at home and has a very open, familial but also informal and, of course, an exchange. I appreciate a shared WG evening with also deeper conversations, but also need enough me-time for myself and space for my interests & hobbies. I like the WG to be clean and tidy, but I am not a cleaning fanatic.
